Mammut World Named Among Iran’s Leading Green Industries Again

At the 25th National Conference on Green Industry, Mining and Services, Mammut World was recognized as a “National Outstanding Green Industrial Unit,” highlighting the company’s continued commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.

At the 25th National Conference on Green Industry, Mining and Services, Mammut World was recognized as one of the country’s outstanding national green industrial units, joining the leading organizations in environmental performance.
According to the Director General of Alborz Province’s Department of Environmental Protection, five national Green Industry and Services titles were awarded to industrial and service units in the province during this year’s event. Among the recipients, Mammut World, Ond Fer, and Zar Macaron were recognized as National Outstanding Green Industrial Units.

The selection of Green Units at the event is based on a set of environmental criteria and regulations established by Iran’s Department of Environment. These criteria include compliance with environmental standards for water, soil, air, and noise; efficient use of fuel and energy; exclusion from the list of polluting industries; maintaining adequate and beneficial green spaces; and submitting self-assessments on waste and wastewater management.

At the 24th National Green Industry Conference, the company was previously recognized as an outstanding and commendable national unit based on its environmental performance in 2022, receiving the Green Plaque in recognition of its achievements. At that time, initiatives such as expanding green spaces, reducing equipment-related pollution, improving operational efficiency, and using lower-emission fuels were among the factors considered in the evaluation.
